Learn how to cook and shop on a budget

UF/IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program is providing a six-week long cooking course for adults to learn how to make low-cost, healthy, easy, and tasty meals.

Participants will receive a certificate and book upon completion.

This course is two-hours long, once a week for six weeks.

Classes will be Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. starting June 19th, 2018.

Priority will be given to adults receiving SNAP benefits. If participants have disabilities, need accommodations, or have service animals, please let us know upon signing up.

Cooking matters participants do not need to also be enrolled in any grocery store tours that may be occurring during the course. There will be a grocery tour during the 5th week of the course.
