C.A.M.E.O is HealthStreet’s multi-disciplinary program that encourages collaboration and creation of innovative community engagement practices among our student volunteers, practicums and interns.

  • These 5 cores support our 4 HealthStreet aims, which ultimately support the HealthStreet mission of reducing disparities in health care and health research.
  • Positions in C.A.M.E.O are accepted as space permits. We require at least 10 hours per week time commitment. Priority will be given to students who commit to two semesters.

We are accepting C.A.M.E.O. student volunteers and interns to assist with:

  • Health Event Planning
  • Our Community, Our Health
  • Marketing
  • Public Relations
  • Website and Social Media

(A) Epidemiological and Biostatistical Analyses

  • Data Management

(M) Program Management 

(E) Community Health Education 

  • Grant / LOI Preparation
  • Health Education and Screenings
  • Preparation of Outreach Materials

(O) Community Outreach 

  • Health Needs Assessment Certification
  • Recruitment, Retention and Navigation
  • Membership Follow-up Calls
