Andrew McConville: Community Health Worker
Andrew joined HealthStreet to expand his skillset with research recruitment and community outreach. For him, the most gratifying parts about being a CHW are linking members to studies, hearing how interested people are about bettering their health, and observing benefits of well-represented research. Andrew is using his public health knowledge to better understand health policies and resources and to apply that knowledge to intervention strategies for chronic health conditions such as obesity.
Erick Edwing: Communications Specialist
Erick is a recent public relations graduate from the University of Florida with two years of communications experience. He joined HealthStreet to align his passion for strategic communications with an immense interest for programs that engage the community. He hopes to increase awareness and action about HealthStreet’s endeavors among both the UF research community and the residential community at-large. Erick is also excited to use his expertise to meet HealthStreet’s future goals.
