My name is Matthew Clowers and I am a biology student that is currently participating in biomedical research. The main focus of my research is to investigate different histone modifications that may be utilized to help treat castration resistant prostate cancer. While volunteering at HealthStreet, I learned that giving back to the community can be fun and rewarding for all.
The ReTOOL program is a partnership program between University of Florida (UF) and Florida A&M University (FAMU) to address the lack of well-trained minority prostate cancer scientists in Florida. To learn more, please visit: http://retool.cop.ufl.edu/
