On September 17th, from 12 to 3 pm, HealthStreet is hosting a Recovery Month Mental Health Fair at our facility to celebrate recovery and encourage individuals with a mental and/or substance use disorder to seek treatment and achieve a healthy, happy life. The event will include various community organizations and groups that can provide services, referrals and a day of fun activities that promote recovery and community engagement!
Mental and/or substance use disorders can affect anyone, including people in Gainesville, where 34.8% people have a mental health and/or a substance use disorder. The Mental Health Fair serves to lessen the gap between community members and access to mental health and addiction services.
