In Case You Missed It: UF HealthStreet’s 2nd Annual Night of Dance

Last year in August more than 500 people from Gainesville and surrounding communities gathered in Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville for an evening of live music, dancing, food, and wellness. The inaugural event, UF HealthStreet’s Night of Dance, was a celebration promoting community, diversity, health research and the arts.

Night of Dance won the hearts of the Gainesville community and its many local businesses and organizations in 2016, and this year it returned to Bo Diddley Plaza on October 22nd. A multitude of local wellness organizations, dance instructors and performers, as well as food trucks and food vendors participated in the event, providing music, dance instruction, delicious food and a number of free health and wellness resources and services to community members.
