Research at HealthStreet

Interested in participating in research?

UF researchers conduct many different kinds of research studies, including clinical trials. Some studies focus on enrolling volunteers with certain health conditions, but others need healthy volunteers to enroll.
HealthStreet is currently navigating people to many of these studies, some of which can be completed in minutes.
Here are a few studies that you can participate in now:
+The Laboratory and Field Validation of a Wrist-worn Alcohol Monitor Study is testing a new monitor to see how accurate and reliable it is. Eligible participants must be 21-64 years old, HIV+, and within the past 30 days have had more than 3 drinks like beer, wine, or liquor in a single day.
+The Brain and Spinal Cord Interaction in the Sensory and Motor Systems Study is examining the spinal cord in people who have had a stroke versus healthy people of younger and older ages. Eligible participants must be 18+ years old, experienced at least 1 unilateral stroke, and willing to participate in an MRI.
If you are interested in hearing about these or other studies, contact our Study Navigator, Sara, at 352-294-4873.
