HealthStreet Newsletter: Issue 104

May 2021 is the National Month of Physical Fitness and Sports. President Biden issued the proclamation this year calling upon people to make “physical activity a priority, to support efforts to increase access to sports opportunities in their communities, and to pursue physical fitness as an essential part of healthy living.” HealthStreet members receive referrals to free exercise programs statewide. 27% of male HealthStreet members and 21% of female members reported exercising all seven days a week; 15% of males and 23% of females reported not working out any days a week. The graph below shows more details.
