Among members who completed our COVID-19 survey, self reports of depression decreased in both men and women from baseline to follow-up. However, anxiety increased in both men (24% to 30%) and women (31% to 37%). The bar graphs shows these rats. For more resources and to become a HealthStreet member, visit us here.

Community Events

50-50-1: The Climb for Cancer Foundation is organizing teams across the US to climb the highest peak in each state while raising funds. The event runs from June 1 through August 31 so teams can pick the date that works best for them. Don't have a state highpoint near you? No problem! Create your own challenge by climbing another peak, a sports stadium, a tall building, or some other challenge synonymous with climbing through the obstacles presented by cancer. Registration is now open.

Hogtown 5K Root Beer Run: The 8th Annual Hogtown 5K Root Beer Run benefiting Climb for Cancer is October 2! This unique cross-country run winds along park trails and loops through Haile Plantation. All proceeds benefit the Climb for Cancer Foundation supporting cancer patients and their families at UF Health. Registration opens this summer.
