As a part of the University of Florida campus, possession of a firearm at HealthStreet is strictly prohibited. Please note this information from the University of Florida Police Chief:
I’d like to take this opportunity to provide you with accurate information about the new “permitless carry” law that went into effect on Saturday. To clarify,possession of a firearm at the University of Florida, and at all other colleges and universities in Florida, is still prohibited.
Under this new Florida law, gun owners no longer need a permit to carry a concealed weapon. However, the law did not change regarding where a person can and cannot carry a firearm. It also did not change regarding who can purchase or carry one: Only those who are legally eligible can do so.
If you own a firearm and intend to carry without a permit, I urge you to familiarize yourself with Florida laws regarding weapons and firearms. Willful ignorance is not a defense.
Owning a firearm is a considerable responsibility. Carrying one is even more consequential.

We want to learn about older adults' experience with health assessments, screenings, and referrals and opinions on receiving automated reminder calls for appointments. Eligible participants are African American/Black older adults over 60 years old. This online survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. You will be paid for your time.
