During Hispanic Heritage Month we celebrate and honor the diverse people, culture, and traditions of Hispanic/Latino communities. HealthStreet has been working with Hispanic/Latino communities and we are dedicated to reaching even more people from Hispanic/Latino communities. The table below shows the differences in health concerns between populations with Hispanic/Latino ethnicity vs those without. Mental health is a top health concern, followed by diabetes and weight among those considering themselves to be Hispanic/Latino. Among Non-Hispanic/Latino HealthStreet members, hypertension was the top health concern, followed by muscle and bone problems and diabetes. We are committed to addressing these health concerns. HealthStreet offers members with a variety of health-related services, classes, events and support groups.
