HIV Stigma and Hepatitis Awareness Month
July is HIV Stigma and Hepatitis Awareness Month. This national health observance aims to raise awareness about HIV stigma and the prevention of viral hepatitis. HIV stigma involved negative attitudes and beliefs about people living with HIV, significantly impacting their emotional well-being and mental health. The language we use is powerful, and even small changes can make a big difference. Learn more by checking out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) language guide here.
Below is the self-reported lifetime history of hepatitis among HealthStreet members categorized by age, race, and sex. The highest percentage of self-reported lifetime history of hepatitis is found among White men aged 30-59 years. Conversely, the self-reported lifetime history of hepatitis is lowest among members aged 18-29 years. According to CDC's national average, Black/African American men have a higher likelihood of hepatitis infection compared to White men. |

Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Combine milk, yogurt, oats, honey, chia seeds, and cinnamon in a 1/2-pint jar with a lid; cover and shake until combined.
2. Fold in blueberries.
3. Cover and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight. Enjoy!
