UF HealthStreet JAX Team Attends Community Health Worker Conference

Our JAX team attended the North East Florida Community Health Worker conference on January 23rd. They learned about health disparities and social determinants of health among the Latino community, reaching the youth population and the cultural dynamics of providing health education to Latino males. The event was organized by the Florida Department of Health in Duval County and the Northeast Florida Health Planning Council.

UF HealthStreet Participates In "Windows To Wellness"

Our Community Health Worker team attended the 2016 Windows to Wellness event this past month, coordinated by UF Health and GatorCare. UF faculty and staff discovered the many "windows to wellness" available to them right here on campus, including UF HealthStreet's free to low cost access to social and medical services and opportunities to participate in health research!
