We are pleased to announce the appointment of Beatrice Dorestil, MPH as the new Director of Operations for UF HealthStreet.
Beatrice earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Florida and has served as the Lead Community Health Worker (CHW) at UF HealthStreet since June 2018. One of the many accomplishments she has achieved in her time at HealthStreet includes helping to facilitate a pilot program for middle-school students (known as CHANGE Makers) while providing leadership to undergraduate students who served as program mentors at the Howard Bishop Community Partnership School.

After a while, they all start to feel like old friends of mine.” – Beatrice Dorestil, MPHIn her role as Lead CHW, Beatrice has assisted in the training of dozens of volunteers and interns and has helped in enrolling hundreds of community members for health education, community services, and participation in research. She is excited to be a part of the UF HealthStreet leadership team and looks forward to working with researchers and residents to advance health equity, research opportunities, and community health throughout Florida. We are proud to have Beatrice Dorestil as our new Director of Operations for UF HealthStreet!
